High School Lab Modules

The High School Lab Modules that we conduct each year are designed to satisfy numerous goals. The underlying theme for all of them is to provide the means by which every student from participating high schools may understand current molecular genetics technology taught to them within the Living Environment curriculum. This material is required of each graduating high school student. The high school workshop efforts, bolstered by a generous supplemental grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), has grown dramatically since our first effort at Groton High school. Paula Jones, a high school teacher at Groton, has been instrumental in helping this portion of the outreach program accomplish it's objectives.
